I recently blogged about the decision of Friendster to support both Facebook and OpenSocial apps.  This is good news for the momentum behind a common set of APIs, and will broaded the market available to app developers.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;What I particularly like about the Ning news - is that they represent a whole collection of very specialized social networks - so they are a great way to reach the "Long Tail" and people with particular tastes, which is a real opportunity to tap.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Thanks for a great post!&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Kevin Burbank</dc:creator><pubDate>Mon, 13 Oct 2008 14:54:16 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
